Brand New Seats for sale

New. $200 for the pair

These seats were bought new by me at the GoodGuys car show.  They are great, but are just too wide for my Model A Ford replica.  The problem was that as you slide the seats forward, the car gets narrower.  What I did not take into account was that as you go from the roof toward the floor, the space for the seats also gets narrower in that direction.

These seats were sold by a "character" who had lots of car seats that he buys in quantity from someone who pulls them from new cars to make handicapped vans.  What I know about the seats is what this guy told me.  They are brand new, and came from a Volkswagen Touareg Van.  I believe he said 2011 to 2013 year.  There is no base pedestal with them, but the sliders are on the seat, as are two bolts and a threaded hole to mount each of the runners under the seat.   Hmm - in looking on Google, I do not see this exact seat anywhere under VW van seats, so now I am not sure what they came from.  The vendor said VW Touareg, but he had dozens of sizes and styles of seats at the show and he may have been mistaken.  I am pretty sure that these were not FRONT seats originally, because they fold down like the stow away seats in my Chrysler Van.

This set is black leather along with a black suede insert in the center back.  The driver's side has a plug-in which is for a heated seat. You can wire it up or cut the wire and remove it. No heater for the passenger.

The seats recline back, and also snap forward and fold down with great force.  When starting the switchblade speed forward fold, the headrest also snaps over to tuck into the space.  The arms fold down on both seats, and are easily removed.  I tried removing them to get the seats to fit - the problem was the back but mostly  the fanny parts of the two seats together were just too wide total.

The seats (according to the dealer) also fit Dodge Caravans and Chrysler Town and Country.  The come with the female end of the seatbelts connected, but that is all.  Sure enough, the male end of my Chrysler van clicked right into this belt.  He had said that the seat belt was a generic type and other car belts could also fit.  He also practically took the seat apart while showing it to me to demonstrate how the seats came apart and went together easily.  These look to me like great seats, and I regret that they don't fit my car.   Below are several of pictures for you to check over.

Also, I assume these are leather seats - not because I know that for a fact, but because I don't think cars come with vinyl seats - I mean, you get cloth seats, or leather seats in a car these days, right?

New seats, suede inserts

Here is my old, way less attractive seat, (on the right) next to the new one, which is also deeper front to back than my original car seat.

This picture added later on in response to a call. there are two tracks on each seat. At the rear of each track are two protruding bolts (metric)
at the front of each track is a hole, that is threaded and where you would put your own bolt up from the ground level and into the seat.
The two tracks  move independently (as I recall) so you mount them to your frame or car floor to keep them lined up with each other.

You likely could mount the tracks on a plywood base and then mount THAT any way you wished in your car.

I can measure the seats if you want, but the best bet is to bring your car and come look at them, since I had measured, and ended up having the seats not fit.  I hope someone can use these, since they are pretty nice seats.
